We are very pleased to announce that Jamieson Morrow, a first grader, has been selected as a winner in the Dream Architecture Competition. Art students at WJC participate in this competition, sponsored by the Birmingham Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, every year. Only 35 winners were chosen from nearly 1,000 entries and 16 Birmingham area schools, so this is a wonderful honor for Jamieson. He was recognized at a special awards ceremony at SawWorks Studio on May 7th. His artwork is pictured above.

Students from WJC participate in the Alabama PTA Reflections Competition every year. We consistently have several Birmingham council level winners, but this year we took it even further. Three of our students placed at the state level as well, which is a huge accomplishment. All council and state level winners will be recognized at the Birmingham PTA Reflections Banquet in May. Our council and state level winners are listed below. We are very proud of our students!
