  • Community Eligibility Provision (CEP)

    The Birmingham City Schools System will be continuing the community eligibility provision program where all students eat at no charge. There are no lunch forms required (for parents to fill out) to participate in this program.

  • Student Orientation Dates and Times

    Orientation gives students and parents a chance to bring in their school supplies, briefly meet with their teachers, and discover a few important nuggets of information that can help to make Day 1 and beyond successful.

     

    6th Grade July 28th 6PM

    7th Grade July 29th 6PM

    8th Grade July 30th 6PM

     

    Kindergarten - 5th Grade Sunday, August 2, 2015

    K - 2nd Grade 3 - 4PM

    3rd - 5th Grades 5 - 6PM

    Parking is available in the adjacent graveled (grass covered) lot on the 23rd Street side of the building.

    All orientation sessions will begin in the school auditorium. Sign in will occur in the individual teacher classrooms.

    SUMMER READING
     READ!
    It's the season for summer reading!  Visit any Birmingham Public Library location beginning May 18th to register your child for summer reading.  Statistics show that students who read during the summer achieve at a higher level in school than students who do not.  So help your child avoid the "summer slide" by visiting your public library.
