    Our students and teachers are gearing up for our Black History Program scheduled for Thursday, February 25, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. Tuggle parents and community are invited to witness and be a part of this BIG event.  Theme:  "Hallowed Grounds:  Sites of African American Memories."

    Stride Academy Comes to Tuggle


    Stride Academy


    This interactive online program allows students to learn reading, language, math, and science in a fun format.  Students have an opportunity to receive virtual coins for correct answers provided and play games as an incentive.  They can access it at home!

  • Parent Seminar

    What an amazing event! Parents had an opportunity to support their children at this February 9, 2016 Parent Seminar. Teachers engaged parents with helpful learning information and spoke on various class and school related topics, demonstrated lessons, and served refreshments.

  • 2016-2017 Student Registration

    Tuggle parents and guardians as well as those of other Birmingham City Schools' will be able to register elementary age students using the online registration system soon.

  • ACT Aspire Testing

    Students in grades 3-5 will be taking upcoming state assessments in English, Reading, Math, Science, and Writing from April 11-15, 2016. These tests measure the teaching and learning taking place at Tuggle as well as to compare our data to data of other schools across the state of Alabama.
