I am excited about this school year at Huffman Academy and all that your children will learn. I have great expectations for each of them, and my goal in the classroom is not only to provide a loving environment but to also enrich their lives with learning while having fun. I have a passion for teaching and learning and strongly believe this transcends to my students. I believe a successful education is a joint effort between the school and the home which is why family and community are the fundamentals of my classroom. Communicating effectively with parents is an important way I keep families informed of their children’s class activities and school events. I encourage your preschoolers to be life- long learners by teaching them to be intentional explorers, inquisitive thinkers and problem solvers. 

When I am away from the classroom, my husband and I enjoy fishing, traveling, gardening, and relaxing with family and friends.  I am an avid reader, enjoy experimenting with recipes, and love the outdoors.
