Arrington Elementary will implement the Remote Learning Plan called Teacher Led Blended Instruction for the remainder of this school year. This means that we will use printed learning packets and you will be able to access some of your child’s assignments online through our website, emails from teachers, google classroom, and other electronic applications communicated to you from your child's teacher. Learning packets for students can be picked up beginning on this Wednesday, April 8th. Parents may pick up learning packets at any time that is convenient for you. The packets will be located in the front of our school in separate containers. When you drive up, you will see a container for each grade band. You should only take the packet that represents the grade level that your child is in. Your child’s teacher will reach out to you and your child with more information about the next set of student assignments later this week. Again, learning packets can be picked up beginning Wednesday, April 8th. Please remember to use social distancing if, other parents are picking up packets at the same time. Please contact your child’s teacher if you have any questions. Contact information is on Arrington Elementary School Website.
Stay safe, healthy, and as always, it's a great day to be a bulldog.
Hello parents and students of Arrington Elementary School. Unfortunately, the coronavirus has affected our school, district and nation and presents many challenges for our system and our community. On Wednesday March 11th, students were provided with instructions for online lessons through our intervention program i-Ready. Students can continue their educational progress on-line at their respective homes. With the exception of Kindergarten, 1st through 5th grade students have their individual instructional pathways that is based on his/her individual skill level and needs. Teachers, students and parents can monitor lessons and activities as well as staying engaged through fun and interactive games. On our home page under On-line lessons, are several educational resources as well as the Cleaver/I-Ready icon. Students have been logging into this site for the past four to six weeks and are familiar with all components of this program. If you have any questions please email you childs teacher and allow us an opportunity to respond with accurate and up-to-date information. Please stay tuned as we update our website continuously with new information…
