Duties and Responsibilities of the
    Employees in the 'Shipping and Distribution'  Department
    1. Specify, purchase and schedules the delivery of furniture, stages, and movable equipment for all schools and facilities throughout the system including various support items.

    2. Receipts and unloads deliveries from outside vendors for all departments in the Facilities Service Center. 

    3. Fills orders from principals’ requisition forms.

    4. Stocks emergency supplies for all Birmingham City Schools Facilities.

    5. Delivers mail to BCS Facilities.

    6. System contact for refuge removal for all facilities, schools, and lunchrooms throughout the school system. (Dumpsters)
