I have an extensive background in curriculum and have worked with teachers here at JHPA in that capacity and in Birmingham City Schools. I have served as a school based and district reading coach and curriculum specialist. My extensive background in school leadership foundation and applying those experiences is what motivates me at our IB World School!. I have a life long affinity for teaching and learning. JHPA is a unique school, and the administrative goal is to keep improving our instructional pedagogy and implementing the BCS curriculum initiatives. As an honored member of the administrative team, we are committed to a long-term success and steady leadership for JHPA. Working with our world class family members, a.k.a parents and PTA, and staff, the moon is our limit. I am very thankful to our entire faculty and staff for all the hard work they put in on a daily basis. They are truly world class! Let's keep up our spirits, refine and improve our practices, and help achieve the leadership goals of JHPA and BCS!
