Mr. Jonathan L Hatten
My name is Jonathan Hatten and I am a proud product of Birmingham City Schools where I graduated from Ensley Magnet High School. I earned my BA in Political Science from Miles College in 2003. I attended graduate school at Alabama State University and the University of West Alabama where I earned a MAT in Social Science/History and MSCE in Psychology and Counseling. I am excited to have the opportunity to be your child's teacher for the 2021-2022 school year. This is my fourth year teaching at The Ramsay IB High School, and my tenth year in the classrooom. This year, I will be teaching AP Government and Politics, Advanced Government and Psychology. My educational philosophy is "all children can learn they just learn differently. I look forward to partnering with you, the parents, to ensure your scholar achieves their full potential in this classroom experience.
