My name is Brenda Ware and I will be your child’s teacher this year.  I am married and have two daughters and two step children. I graduated from Alabama State University and Miles College with degrees in Early Childhood Elementary and Child Development. I am an educator of 22 years. I am certified.  I love my job and I am delighted to continue my career in education. I taught Pre-K 15 years  and taught first grade 1 year. 

A little bit more about me, I love reading, writing, shopping, swimming, traveling and watching Alabama win.  I am looking forward to having your child in my  class.  Their enthusiasm and energy offers great challenges and I look forward to my year with them and with you too!

I want this kindergarten year to be  happy as well as a meaningful one for you and your child. I am also looking forward to working with you as partners in your child’s education. 

During the school year, I will be assessing and monitoring students in math, reading and writing skills through benchmark assessments. The information gathered will help me identify and target areas that need attention. We will spend fabulous days together writing, sharing books, reading stories, making friends and much, much more.
