Hello Everyone! I look forward to working with our children here at Charles A. Brown International Baccalaureate Elementary School. I have had a love for music ever since I was 3. I would always sing around the house and participate in choirs at church and school. In the 3rd grade I began to play violin. I played from 3rd-5th and picked it back up in High school. Music was my curriculum in high school, which later prepared me for college. I also learned to play the Viola and Harp at Cass Technical High School in Detroit, MI. I attended Alabama State University on a music and choir scholarship. I was selected to participate in 105 Voices Choir in 2009 to represent Alabama State University of the Kennedy Center stage with 105 HBCU participants. My passion for music lead me to not only teach but perform on Various stages with Popular artists such as Take 6, Shirley Caesar, Wynona Judd and Tremaine Hawkins. I still perform, but I love to share my passion with my students. I work to inspire them to be creative and open minded to all of the opportunites that lie ahead. Everyone has potential for greatness. We work to unlock that potential.

I have one little boy. He is 8 years old and also loves music and a loving husband who supports that dream. I enjoy spending time with family and singing. Reading is one of my favorite past times. I have a fascination with Japanese anime, music, language and culture.
