    The Health Triangle - Make sure you have a balance with your Physical Mental and Social Health

    Physical you can exercise alone or with family members. Encourage them to become active as a family to relieve stress. Mentally try to find a time to relax and remove stress from your day. Eat healthy well balanced meals and get proper sleep time. Meditate, take deep breaths and exercise regularly. Talk to friends and family members about how the COVID-19 has impacted you. Remember to keepsocial distance and stay safe during this pandemic. 

    The outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) may be stressful for people. Fear and anxiety about a disease can be overwhelming and cause strong emotions in adults and children.

    Stress during an infectious disease outbreak can include

    Fear and worry about your own health and the health of your loved ones
    Changes in sleep or eating patterns
    Difficulty sleeping or concentrating
    If you are feeling stressed speak to to family members or someone you can trust with concerns during this COVID_19 time.

    Parents children will act out different when dealing with stress

    Excessive crying or irritation in younger children
    Returning to behaviors they have outgrown (for example, toileting accidents or bedwetting)
    Excessive worry or sadness
    Unhealthy eating or sleeping habits
    Irritability and “acting out” behaviors in teens
    Poor school performance or avoiding school
    Difficulty with attention and concentration
    Avoidance of activities enjoyed in the past
