Degrees and Certifications:
Mr. Richmond Williams
Greetings, I am Richmond Franklin Williams and I have been a professional educator for the past 17 years. I was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama and I am a product of Birmingham City School System. I attended Alabama Agricultural & Mechanical University (A&M) and received my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in 1992. After graduation, I worked as a Jefferson County Deputy Sheriff Bailiff. While working as Bailiff, I returned to my Alma Mata and earned my Masters in Business Education Secondary in 2003. Growing up in Birmingham, I developed a passion for education due to my mother who was a teacher for thirty eight years and my uncle for thirty five years. For the past 17 years, I have worked as an Attendance Officer, Hearing Officer, and taught business marketing, business law, and computer essentials. During my career as a teacher/coach, I had the privilege to coach at Center Street Middle, Daniel Payne Middle, Bush K-8, Bush Hills Stem Academy, Parker High School and Carver High School. While at Bush K-8, I coached volleyball, football, basketball, baseball, softball and track and field. At Parker and Carver High Schools, I coached football, basketball, baseball and softball. I also enjoy refereeing basketball, football, volleyball, lacrosse, and umpiring baseball and softball. I have two sons Jarvis and Omari Williams and I am a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated.
