Overview:

Language Arts and Social Studies-The fourth grade program builds on the skill knowledge children have learned in previous years. It encourages critical thinking, creativity, and respect for self and others. The manner of instruction is motivation, grouping, pacing, reinforcing, and re-teaching. Students learn to read and comprehend increasingly complex fiction and non-fiction texts. By developing skills to critically analyze, revise and edit their writing skills in their social studies course, which focuses on topics related to Alabama History.
