Welcome Parents and Students to a Brand New Year of Learning!

We at Robinson Elementary School are greatly committed to teaching our students and helping them to master needed skills across the curriculum.

I am looking forward to a prosperous school year filled with much learning. For the 2023-2024 school year, I am entering my twentyfirst year of teaching. I am a proud graduate of Ramsay Alternative High School and received my undergraduate degree in English (Sociology minor) at Dillard University in New Orleans. Additionally, I earned a Masters in Early Childhood Special Education at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. I have a great passion for teaching students at all levels and decided to further my expertise to better address the needs of my students by earning National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT) designation in 2008 as an Exceptional Needs Specialist. As of 2018, I earned recertification status as a National Board Certified Teacher. I firmly believe all students can learn, but it takes commitment from both teachers and parents to support our students and to "think outside the box" to ensure that goal comes to fruition.

Additionally, I am available directly to assist with any questions. Please feel free to contact me via email or at the direct number above for any needed information or assistance.

Parents, we are in this together and we will win!
    "It takes a village."
