I am a Special Education/Collaborative Teacher.  I have been teaching for 16 years at Birmingham City Schools.  I am a dedicated, resourceful and goal-driven professional educator with a solid commitment to the social and academic growth and development of every child.  In this position, I have demonstrated the ability to consistently individualize instruction, based on students’ needs and interests.  My classroom has a warm and inviting atmosphere that is encouraging and adaptive to the varied needs of students.
