Mrs. Tekesia Shamburger

My name is Tekesia Shamburger and I am teaching 4th grade Reading/Language. I am looking forward to a great school year! This is my first year at Oxmoor Valley Elementary School. I have taught for sixteen years in 2nd through 5th grade. I earned an Early Child/Elementary Education Degree from Miles College, and a Masters from the University of Montevallo. I am married with two daughters ages 14 and 18. My hobbies are reading, shopping and watching football. I love love love football (ROLL TIDE)! softball, and tennis. Some of my favorite snacks are: Mountain Dew, KitKat, Riesens and Reeses.
