Oxmoor Valley Elementary School (OVE) is a school in the Birmingham City Schools system, constructed in 2013 to serve students in Southwest Birmingham and Oxmoor Valley. It accepted the elementary grades when Jones Valley K-8 School was converted to a middle school. Oxmoor Valley Elementary School (OVE) is located off of Lakeshore Drive, in the western section of Birmingham, Alabama. The school started with over 550 students, a dedicated staff, and a caring administrative team.
There are 16.4 beautiful acres surrounded by a peaceful and serene setting. The facility has 28 classrooms equipped with computers, interactive white boards and a view of the beautiful landscaped campus from each class, Business Education Classroom, 3 Computer Labs, Art and Band Classrooms, Technology Classroom, Media Center, Science Lab and Science Lecture Room, 2 playgrounds, Activity Court, Gymnasium, Outdoor Classroom, Outdoor Track and Stadium.
