My name is Tarithia Bracy and I teach 10th grade Health at G.W. Carver High School. I am also the InFocus facilitator for Carver High School. I have been teaching in the Birmingham City School System for 25 years. I received both my B.S. and MA.Ed from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. I was awarded State Health Educator of the Year in 2011, and Difference Maker of the Year in 2020. I am married and have two children. My son is a Computer Science major and my daughter is Pre-Nursing. Health Education builds student's knowledge, skills and positive attitude about health. It also motivates students to improve and maintain their health. I love teaching health and hope that I can make a difference in someone's life.
