    WELCOME PARENTS AND ROBINSON ROADRUNNERS!

I am looking forward to a prosperous school year filled with much learning. For the 2019-2020 school year, I am entering my seventeenth year of teaching. I am a proud graduate of Ramsay Alternative High School, and received my undergraduate degree in English (Sociology minor) at Dillard University in New Orleans. Additionally, I earned a Masters in Early Childhood Special Education at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. I have a great passion for teaching students at all levels and decided to further my expertise to better address the needs of my students by earning National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT) designation in 2008 as an Exceptional Needs Specialist. As of 2018, I earned recertification status as a National Board Certified Teacher. I firmly believe all students can learn, but it takes a village including both teachers and parents to "think outside the box" to ensure that goal comes to fruition.
