Welcome to an exciting year in Kindergarten! I'm Mrs.Venita Grimmett and I'm one of the kindergarten teachers here at Oxmoor Valley. I have been teaching for 30+years in the Birmingham City School System! My Class Motto: Tell Me and I Forget, Teach me and I will Remember, Involve me and I will Learn. The Kindergaten team and I will work very hard to get our students ready to move from Good to Great! Oxmoor Valley's Motto:" Direction (not intentions) = Destination"! I am looking forward to meeting and working with the students, the parents, this school year. I know this will be a "FANTASTIC SCHOOL" year!
