I am Ms. Thompson. I recieved my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education in 1996 and my Master's Degree in Early Childhood in 1999 from The University of Alabama at Birmingham. I have been a Kindergarten teacher at Sun Valley since November 1996. I am delighted to work with you and your child this school year. I have high expectiations for all of my students, and I believe that every child will succeed in their own special way. It takes a village to raise a child, and together we can be active partners to ensure that each child reaches their potential.
