    Dear Parents and Guardians,
       My name is Erica Jones and I am your child’s Advanced English teacher for the 2022-2023 school year. It is with great honor to be employed at Ramsay High School. I am a proud graduate of both Miles College and Alabama State University. I am the mother of one daughter and one son. I know the importance of education and I am willing to give your child all that I have. I am excited about the upcoming year. I am ready to push your child to his or her fullest potential. We will cover some very important material this school year. I have enclosed a syllabus, so that you can understand the direction in which we will be going. I ask that you help me by encouraging your child daily. Always praise them when they are doing positive things.  I look forward to meeting each of you. If there are any concerns, please do not hesitate to call the school to set up a conference.
