ACADEMY COORDINATOR

Welcome back parents and students to another exciting school year at Ramsay IB High School! I am Ja'net Sharpe, Academy Coordinator for the Academy of Engineering at Ramsay IB High School. This year begins my 9th year at Ramsay and my fourteenth year in education.

Biography 

I am a graduate of Woodlawn High School in Birmingham, AL.  I received a B.S. degree in Accounting from Miles College and an M.S. degree in Mathematics Education from Alabama State University.  I also received an Ed.S. degree from The University of Montevallo. I am currently pursuing a doctoral degree from Alabama State University. My professional teaching experience includes Birmingham City Schools, Bessemer City Schools, and Brown Mackie College.  In my spare time, I enjoy reading, cooking, and spending time with family.
