I hope that this message finds you in good health, a reenergized spirit, and a sense of enthusiasm and excitement. I am Bruce Roper, Principal of Arrington Elementary School. Though we are remote learning for the first nine weeks,  I am so excited knowing that we are about to see our students and I am certain they feel the same way about us.  This entire pandemic has altered all existing ideologies about how teachers teach, students learn and families cope with a variety of social, emotional and economic challenges. I truly believe our resiliency and commitment will propel us far above our on expectations. Any major change that altered the course of our history, began with frustration, anxiety, uncertainty and people being just plan tired. These are all of the ingredients that create an overwhelming movement of progress. Thank you for being a part of our entire learning community and remember, we are all in this together because We Are Birmingham Strong.
