     Hello parents, welcome to lst grade.  I am so excited about this upcoming year. We will have many great adventures this year.  I look forward to working with your child and increasing their academic performance.  I encourage my students to express themselves in my classroom and work well with their peers.  My students and their education is very important.  We have a lot of hard work and I am sure we can accomplish all of the goals suggested by Birmingham City Schools.

If you are able to assist as a room parent, please contact me via class dojo. I am a proud graduate of Southern University, Troy State University and Jacksonville State University. I have one daughter that recently graduated from Carver High School in Birmingham, Alabama. I believe in this school system and I believe in your child.
