 Professional background:

Sergeant First Class Monica Bell currently serves as the Army Instructor at the G.W Caver High School, Birmingham Alabama.  She is the wife of Aaron B. Bell Jr. and mother to four children. She served as Senior Army Instructor at Woodlawn High School, in Birmingham, Alabama before coming to the G.W. Carver High School.   She retired from the United States Army in 2012 as a Sergeant First Class in the Directorate of Training (DOTS) after 26 years of service.  Her assignments include Fort Dix, New Jersey, Friedberg, Germany, Kitzgen, Germany, Manheim Germany, Osan, Korea, Fort Eustis, Virginia, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, Saudi Arabia and Iraq.

Service Schools include the United States Army Drill Sergeant School, Fort Jackson, South Carolina, Defense Equal Opportunity Institute (DEOMI), Cocoa Beach Florida, Army Retention Course, Germany and Sexual Assault Training Course, Fort Benning, Georgia.
