Dear Students & Parents,

I am overjoyed to begin my 16^th year of education as the new Verizon Innovative Learning Schools Coach at W.J. Christian. Our school was selected to become a Verizon Innovative Learning School (VILS) for the 2022-23 and 2023-24 school years.

Digital promise collaborates with Verizon to ensure our 5th-8th grade students and teachers are equipped with an iPad and data plan to support academic improvement and increase proficiency in STEM related courses.

As the VILS coach, my role is to support teachers with the integration of technology into their everyday lessons and classes, along with managing our Student Tech Team. The Student Tech Team is the first line of troubleshooting devices in the classroom. The team will also be the first to explore new technology that is available through VILS.
