Strategy and Communications

  • The Strategy and Communications Department nurtures positive, supportive relationships built on trust with all internal and external stakeholders with the goal of supporting teaching and learning as we prepare students for college, career and life. Such a rapport can be built through consistent, open and honest two-way engagement and communication designed to inform, respond to public query, disseminate information, eliminate misinformation, and to provide forums and activities for direct communication and interaction with district and school personnel and other community stakeholders.

    Strategy & Communication Services include: 

    • Crafting and distributing press releases and media alerts
    • Managing the district website and app
    • Engaging with stakeholders via social media
    • Covering district and school-level events
    • Event planning and promotion
    • Responding to and coordinating media requests and inquiries
    • Supporting public relations efforts of the superintendent, board of education, district administrators and schools
