Mrs. Geri Nell Cauthen - 2nd Grade Teacher
Mrs. Geri Nell Cauthen currently teaches 2nd grade at Barrett Elementary. This is her third year here at Barrett. Mrs. Cauthen began teaching in 1991 and has taught grades Kindergarten through sixth grade as well as ninth through twelfth grade. She received her undergraduate degree in early childhood and elementary education from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. She received her master's degree in early childhood and elementary education from the University of West Alabama.
She is married to Mr. Cauthen and together they have five children and one son-in-law. They also have a cat named Tiny. Mrs. Cauthen loves to run, hike, cook, garden, and set out on new adventures with their children.
