I am the 6th grade math teacher at Wilkerson Middle School, where the bisons are One Team...One Goal... and No Limits! It is an honor to serve under great leadership and to be a part of a dynamic team. I have been in education a total of 23 years with 16 years dedicated to teaching.  My aspiration has always been to teach math.  As a child, numbers sense came naturally, and my passion to teach manifested as my ultimate career choice.  

My teaching style is very charismatic.  I teach with passion, motivation and sincerity.  In my class, We TWIRL (Talk, Write, Investigate, Read, and Listen) all while laughing, learning, thinking, trying and applying.  

My teaching motto is “you are what you think and you shall have what you say."  As educators, if we can get our students to buy into a “growth mindset”, half of the battle would be won.  “Believing” is powerful!!!  However, the challenge is helping my students to “BELIEVE!”
