Welcome all new members and welcome back to those who are returning! I am thrilled to serve as Malachi Wilkerson's Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Unified Arts instructor! To tell a little bit about myself, I was born and raised in Birmingham, AL, until moving to Berea, Kentucky to attend Berea College, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Technology and Applied Design. Although originally planning to be an industrial engineer, I recognized my passion for educating young people in technology during my position as a teaching assistant in 2017-2018. I am grateful to be working with your students and I am here to encourage and motivate them for future possibilities!

           The S.T.E.M. course is designed to develop student problem solving and communication skills, as well as involve them in the basics of tech knowledge. Through project-based learning, students will be engaged in hands-on activities that will prepare them for future careers in S.T.E.M. fields. My expectations for your students are high and I plan to challenge them in every discipline, in this class. Parent volunteers for field trips and sit-ins are always welcome!
