Hello everyone!
I am so excited for another great year at Ramsay High School. My name is Aleiah Tolbert and I am a proud graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham where I received a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biology and minors in Chemistry and STEM Education.
I am a long-term learner and enjoy all things creative, supporting my students in their MANY extracurriculars, and going on adventures with my husband and border collie. Mostly you will find me with a coffee in hand planning my next big science experiment or activity.
I am embarking on my fourth year as a Ramsay Ram and I could not be more proud to teach at this institution. The students have made an insurmountable impact on me and I hope to do the same for them. This year, I will be teaching AP Biology and IB Biology Years I and II. In the past, I have taught Advanced Environmental Science, Advanced Human Anatomy and Physiology, and Advanced Chemistry. I am committed to instilling the love I have for science into my students!
