Hello everyone, 

It is great to be here at Ramsay High School for the 2020-2021 school year! This is my 20th year teaching physical education in Birmingham City Schools. I have also coached girls basketball, football. softball and baseball in this district throughout my years in this system. I am currently the offensive coordinator here at Ramsay high school.

I grew up in Midfield and I played sports throughout my childhood and still love to participate, no matter what sport as an adult. I graduated from Alabama State University in June, 2000. My wife is also a teacher, we have 2 daughters and a son.  Being a husband and father is what I cherish the most.

I hope to encourage teamwork,sportmanship,character development and overall personal growth in my classes. I find exercise/sport to be a great stress reliever and an opportunity to strengthen one's self no matter winning or losing. I will promote the power of decision making and goal setting as life skills and educate my students on the importance of maintaining a healthy body and mind through positive behaviors. I look forward to working with this awesome staff and administration. Together we will bring out the best in our students.
