Greetings! My name is Selena Jemison, and I'm thrilled to say this is my second year teaching high school English. I grew up in Birmingham, AL and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English from Miles College in May of 2019.

I began my career at Dupuy Alternative School, and a year later I am proud to say I am now a part of the Thundering Hurd team! This year I will be teaching 10^th grade English.

I love to write, dance, and I also shop from time to time! I look forward to meeting all of my scholars, as well as their parents!
