Ms. Howard Learns, discusses and actively engaged in healthy and whole life choices, (i.e... Healthy eating, speaking, and thinking) Music and the arts will be a catalyst in encouraging students to practice their new values, and gain opportunities on demand! F.B.L.A. (Future Business Leaders of America F.B.L.A. is a national organization for all students currently enrolled in at least one business course at Huffman. The Floor Men Coach Ward This club will consist of Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Freshman Basketball Team Members only. FCCLA Ms. Mincey A107 Club focus is on Character Development. For students taking FACS classes only. Thinkers In depth study of Literature Teens for Christ Study, sharing and mentoring for teens by teens through the word of GOD. Math Club Prepare students for upcoming competitions Start Walking Now Students will learn the importance of walking, why it's important to keep strong muscles. HHS News Students will write articles to submit to the Viking newsletter. Different Writing Styles The club will focus on handwriting styles as an Art i.e., Fancy, Patoo, Cool, Fonts, Calligraphy, etc. TRI-HI-Y Give students a first-hand experience on how the government operates. Students will go to the state capital twice a year to participate in a mock trial and mock law making competition. Academic Bowl Academic Bowl competes for Huffman against other high schools in a trivia competition. Chess Club Mr. Patterson B223 An organization where students can develop higher level, critical thinking and strategic planning skills in a fun and competitive environment. PEP CLUB This organization is a student cheering group to assist the cheerleaders at all Huffman Basketball games. Honor Guard and Drill Team Students will represent the HHS at activites that require color guard. Skills USA Ms. Humphrey A104 To develop leadership abilities through participation in educational, vocational, civic, recreational and social activities. Skills USA Mr. Marzette A110 Architecture/Construction Students who are motivated about the fields of architecture/construction should be a part of this club. Debate Team The purpose of this club is to teach interested students the fundamentals of debating. Art Club Promoting school spirit and holiday festivities through visual art decorations. Tri-M Tri-M is the nationally recognized music honor society. Health and Fitness Mr. Moore To educate students on the importance of living a healthy lifestyle.
