My name is Mary Murphy. I am happy and excited to be a part of Bush Hills S.T.E.A.M. Academy this school year. I am a proud product of Birmingham City Schools. I attended the University of Alabama in Huntsville and the University of Alabama in Birmingham, majoring in secondary mathematics education. I have been employed by Birmingham City Schools for twenty-seven years. 

When I’m not at work I enjoy spending quality time with my family, especially my husband and two children. My hobbies include walking, reading, traveling, and crafting.
