Welcome to the 2021-22 school year. My name is Sandi Harrell and I am the ESL teacher for Norwood Elementary and Huffman Middle School. It is my honor to serve a wonderful and diverse learning community. Together, we will utilize all the wonderful resources our district offers so that students will have an opportunity to learn, explore, discover and apply new knowledge.

My commitment is to provide a safe and loving learning environment so that students can thrive and succeed. Our class will focus on the four language domains of listening, reading, speaking, and writing to meaningfully connect to ourselves, our school, our community, and the world. Students will be supported by equitable access to academic content, language and literacy development, and social-emotional needs. We love first, and teach second.
