BCS Students Take Advantage of Dual Enrollment Program
Dual enrollment allows students to receive both high school and college credit for certain career/technical education courses taken through an Alabama Community College System (ACCS) institution while enrolled in high school. High schools students in grades 10-12 with a 2.5 GPA are eligible for the dual enrollment program.
Last year, Wenonah High School salutatorian Nasir Dowdell graduated with honors from high school and also completed requirements to receive two short certificates in Accounting Technology and Supervision and Management from Lawson State Community College as part of the Dual Enrollment Program.
