BCS Alum and Bill Gates Scholarship Recipient Jarrell Jordan Kicks Off The Importance of College Education Tour at Avondale Elementary

Former Avondale Elementary School student, Woodlawn High School Alum, Bill Gates Scholarship recipient, and current Morehouse student Jarrell Jordan speaks to Avondale Elementary School students about the importance of education. Birmingham Police Department Captain Janice Blackwell, Officer Marvin Neal (BDP Chaplain), and Judge Kecia Davis were among the guest speakers that encouraged students to make wise decisions and do things that will better their school and commuity.
