Community Meetings on Zoning & Feeder Patterns, Spring Career Fair, and More Important Information
Zoning & Feeder Pattern Community Meetings: BCS will continue to host community meetings on proposed zoning and feeder patterns. The meeting for the Carver community will be Thursday, April 4, 2019, at 6 p.m. at Carver High School. BCS asks stakeholders to view the revised proposal and provide feedback.
Kids in Jobs Program Deadline Approaching: This program, led by The City of Birmingham Mayor’s Office Division of Youth Services (DYS), puts kids to work by helping them cultivate the professional development necessary to become an integral part of the workforce.
Spring Career Fair: BCS will host a Spring Career Fair on April 18, 2019 in the gymnasium at Carver High School beginning at 4 p.m. Visit bhamcityschools.org/jobs to apply for open positions.
Pre-K Registration Now Open: Families are asked to visit https://alprek.asapconnected.com/ to pre-register and then complete the registration in-person with the Pre-K Department located at Parker High School.
Summer Fun and Learning Expo: View academic, enrichment and recreational opportunities for your child this summer on Saturday, April 27, 2019, at Bill Harris Arena from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
