Parents and community residents brought their ideas for a better BCS at Huffman High School on Monday during the first community meeting for development of a new strategic plan for the district.  

Birmingham Board of Education President Neonta Williams welcomed the session participants and facilitators guided the collection and sharing of ideas and concerns to help chart the pathway forward for the next five years. 

The next Strategic Plan Community Meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27 at Parker High School, located at 400 Rev. Abraham Woods Blvd. Click here to register.
