Wenonah High School Students Prepare Pies for National Conference on Healing

These pies are important!

Students in the Academy of Hospitality and Tourism at Wenonah High School prepared 100 Sweet Potato Comfort Pies for "There IS A Balm in Gilead: Healing from the Events of 1963" National Conference on individual and community healing.

The pies were part of a 2 p.m. presentation at the conference held at the Birmingham Sheraton Hotel on Sept. 14.
