Congratulations to our amazing principal, Dr. Warren Lewis, and to our dedicated staff and hardworking scholars. Hemphill Elementary received a Report Card Score of 77, and we are so proud of this accomplishment. Under Dr. Lewis’s strong leadership, our school is truly soaring.
Dr. Lewis is one in a million. She inspires her staff every day—not with loud words, but with steady guidance, integrity, and a genuine love for her team and her students. She leads with values and stands for what is right. One thing she said that touched all of us was her belief that she would rather have someone who is not yet certified but is willing to learn, grow, and care for our scholars, than someone with all the credentials who is only here for a paycheck. That speaks volumes about her character and her heart for education.
This achievement belongs to all of us—our principal, our staff, and our scholars whose hard work is paying off. Hemphill Elementary is rising, and we will continue to soar higher.
