National Board for Professional Teaching Standards has awarded certification to ten Birmingham City Schools educators.
LaToya Cosby of BCS Department of Educator Effectiveness, Brandi McGuire of P.D. Jackson-Olin H.S. and Janessa Smith-Waller of Huffman Academy (pictured left to right above) have earned 2025 National Board Certified Teacher status.
Meanwhile, seven educators (pictured left to right below) have earned Maintenance of Certification for 2025:
