Woodlawn High School scholars are making a difference through leadership, service, and community involvement! In a recent student-led interview, Christopher Martinez spoke with Jaylen Pearson and Deonna Pierre about the important roles of Beta Club and Peacebuilders. Both organizations are joining forces to support the “Reach the 619” initiative, encouraging voter awareness, civic responsibility, and community participation. Scholars also highlighted the importance of unity, academic achievement, positive relationships, and leadership.
