Hudson K-8 School proudly celebrated Read Across America Week, March 2–6, 2026, with a week filled with literacy, imagination, and community engagement. Students across all grade levels participated in a variety of activities designed to promote a love for reading and highlight the importance of literacy.
Throughout the week, we were honored to welcome guest readers who visited classrooms and shared their favorite books with our students. Their participation helped create an exciting atmosphere that encouraged students to explore new stories and develop a deeper appreciation for reading.
Students enjoyed themed reading days, engaging discussions about books, and interactive literacy activities that made reading both fun and meaningful. These experiences reinforced the message that reading opens doors to knowledge, creativity, and lifelong learning.
Hudson K-8 would like to extend a special thank you to our guest readers who helped make this celebration a success. Your support continues to strengthen our commitment to building strong readers and lifelong learners at Hudson K-8.
