Last night, our BCS Teachers of the Year, and State District 4 Teachers of the Year, were honored among the 16 finalists for State Teacher of the Year for 2024-25 during a ceremony at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival in Montgomery.

The Superintendent’s Academy is a 4-week, achievement-based, summer enrichment opportunity designed to engage scholars in grades 5-12. The program includes performance-based activities to promote confidence and creativity, critical literacy skills, financial literacy, STEAM (Science Technology Engineering, Art, and Math), problem-based learning, and community service.
