The Thundering Herd wasn't the only football team to visit City Hall today. The Birmingham City Council also recognized the J.H. Phillips Academy Lions for winning the city championship for middle school football this season! During last night's Birmingham Board of Education meeting, we recognized the success earned on the gridiron and hardwood by the Phillips Academy football and volleyball teams, city champions in their respective sports, as well as the historic 6A state championship win by the Parker Thundering Herd! #SuccessStartsHere
