Baseball Hall of Famer Reggie Jackson was among the honored guests at the annual luncheon honoring Negro Southern League baseball legends on June 20, 2024.

Birmingham City Schools students were in attendance at the luncheon and the MLB at Rickwood Field game played in tribute to the Negro Leagues that evening.
