Today, our choir had the honor of performing at the annual Wellness Expo, sponsored by the Omicron Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. This free community event offered produce, health screenings, fitness classes, and more. Through uplifting songs and fellowship, our choir brought joy and inspiration to the Bush Hills community.

The G.W. Carver track and field team brought home FOUR medals from the AHSAA Outdoor Track & Field State Meet in Gulf Shores this weekend! Dmitri Howard finished first in the 100m, third in the 200m, and, as part of the boys relay team, claimed a gold medal in the 4x100. Our students had the incredible opportunity to engage with FBI Special Agents and Professional Staff, learning firsthand about the mission and operations of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. From meaningful discussions to interactive sessions, it was a day filled with insight, inspiration, and empowerment.
We’re grateful to the FBI Birmingham Division for their hospitality and for bringing their mission—to “protect the American people and uphold the Constitution”—to life in such a dynamic way for our future leaders.
